AIT Laboratories ranks 68th on Training magazine’s list of the Top 125 in the nation for excellence in employer-sponsored training and development programs. This is AIT’s second consecutive year on the list that includes other national companies such as Best Buy, Edward Jones, and McDonald’s. In 2011, AIT ranked 119 on the list. The rankings were unveiled last night at an awards gala at the 35th Annual Training 2012 Conference & Expo in Atlanta, Ga.
“It is an honor to be recognized on this list of the global training elite for the second consecutive year. While I may lead the training efforts at AIT, the real results are obtained with the subject matter experts, training specialists, and employees who execute our training every day,” said AIT Training Manager Kathy Lee. Top 125 winners are determined based on some of the following criteria:
The ranking is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, and how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives.
“Training development starts with the identification of the business need we want to fulfill and a measurement to monitor progress and success. Our goal is to train and engaged employees who can effectively and efficiently produce high quality results for our clients,” added Lee.Some of the training initiatives implemented at AIT include Training Within Industry, train the trainer sessions which teach employees how to train other employees, extensive on-boarding training for new employees, and scientific learning modules developed by our toxicologists to assist account executives. In addition to accepting the award on behalf of AIT, Lee was also a speaker at the conference where she outlined some of the unique training initiatives implemented at AIT and their success. Lee’s mission for training at AIT is simple: “Providing Possibilities.”To view a complete list of the Top 125 companies visit: http://www.trainingmag.com/article/training-magazine-ranks-2012-top-125-organizations.
