AIT Laboratories is pleased to announce that Joshua Gunn, Ph.D., manager of scientific education who also serves as a toxicologist, is one of the newest columnists for Practical Pain Management (PPM), a leading publication for pain practitioners nationwide. Gunn’s column, “Focus on Screens,” aims to increase awareness of toxicology issues related to pain medications and illicit/non-prescribed drugs. Each column will provide information on a specific compliance testing substance and feature an AIT toxicology report to demonstrate how that substance may appear in the test results.
“Focus on Screens” debuted in the November/December installment of PPM with a focus on the pharmacology and toxicology of heroin and its metabolite, 6-monoacetylmorphine (6-MAM).
