AIT Publishes Article About Blood Testing and Compliance Monitoring

In the May 2011 issue of Practical Pain Management, a national journal featuring articles that speak to diagnosing and treating various aspects of pain, AIT Toxicologists Josh Gunn, Ph.D. and Gene Schwilke, Ph.D. published an expert article about the benefits of using blood testing in compliance monitoring. Titled “The Value of Blood Analysis for Compliance Monitoring,” the article discusses how obtaining opioid blood concentrations can help clinicians document patient compliance and opioid tolerance.
