Manager of Scientific Education Joshua Gunn, Ph.D.’s column for the January/February 2012 installment of Practical Pain Management is now available. The column, “Focus on Screens,” aims to increase awareness of toxicology issues related to pain medications and illicit/non-prescribed drugs. Each column provides information on a specific compliance testing substance and features an actual toxicology report to demonstrate how that substance may appear in the test results.
Gunn’s latest column explains the toxicology of diazepam and its metabolites, nordiazepam, temazepam, and oxazepam. To read it, visit www.practicalpainmanagement.com.
