About Zolpidem

Zolpidem is indicated for the treatment of adult insomnia and works by slowing activity in the brain to allow sleep to occur. Categorized as a sedative-hypnotic, zolpidem is a controlled substance through the FDA and classified as a Schedule IV drug. Available as an oral tablet or mouth spray, zolpidem may be habit-forming and should not be taken with alcohol.
